At the age of 16, Jason was inspired
    by a renowned artist Chicago's own
    Bad Boy Bill. In the early 90's Bad
    Boy Bill would be on the radio every
    week night. Jason spent many
    nights recording his many mixes.
    This really sparked his love for
    entertaining people with his mixing
    and scratching skills. During his
    high school years, Jason performed
    at numerous house parties. From techno, house, hip-hop & R&B, he developed his mixing skills at an early age.  Through word of mouth, Jason developed a good relationship with the Filipino-American community in the Northside of Chicago. He formed his own Mobile DJ Company with his older brother and catered numerous weddings & private parties.  Jason took a 2 year break from the DJ/Music Industry to pursue a career in law enforcement and became a Police Officer. Because of his love of music, Jason returned to the music industry and became known as  DJ Five-O. He wanted to expand his skills and started to dj in the nightlife scene. He has enjoyed playing in some of Chicago's famous clubs like Martini Ranch, Sound Bar, FUNK, & V-live while still booking a variety of weddings and private parties. After spending so many years of attending various events hosted by Aris Entertainment, DJ Five-O is proud to be a part of the team and will continue to create lasting memories for all party-goers.
